Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Train on 3E unit (med surg post op surgical care) before switching to 5E unit on March 10th
• Provide care for all types of med surg patients with 4-5:1 patient ratios
• Work with 15-bed unit capacity and heparin drips
• Remote telemetry monitoring with cardiac background skills preferred
• Float across all campuses as required
• Work scheduled shifts including holiday rotation
• 24 months minimum experience in Med Surg/Med Surg Tele required
• Charge experience required and preceptor experience highly preferred
• Must have completed at least one travel contract within previous 18 months
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Heparin experience required
• Proficiency caring for variety of med surg patients required
• Must be open and willing to extend past initial 13-week assignment
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Iowa nursing license required
• Navy blue solid scrubs required
• No on-call responsibilities
