Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Initial training on 3E unit for med surg post-op surgical care before transitioning to 5E unit on March 10th
• Provide care for all types of med surg patients with 4-5:1 patient ratios
• Work with 15-bed unit featuring remote telemetry monitoring
• Handle heparin drips and various medical surgical procedures
• Float across all campuses as required
• Weekend shifts as scheduled
• Wear navy blue solid scrubs
• 24 months minimum experience in Med Surg/Med Surg Tele required
• Charge experience required
• Preceptor experience highly preferred
• Must have completed at least one previous travel contract within 18 months
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Heparin experience required
• Telemetry/cardiac background highly preferred
• BLS certification required
• Iowa nursing license required
• Must be willing to extend beyond initial 13-week assignment
• Orientation date: March 2nd (firm requirement)
