RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Perform a variety of integrated nursing functions using the nursing process with broad nursing knowledge
• Assess patients for physical, emotional, psychological/social and family support needs
• Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care according to patient's real and/or perceived needs
• Evaluate patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge
• Determine if goals are being met according to patient's plan of care or clinical path
• Consult and collaborate with members of the healthcare team in planning and implementing total patient care
• Care for all telemetry patient population with 4:1 patient ratio, occasionally stretching to 5:1
• Work every other weekend and holiday schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Telemetry cardiac experience required
• Recent travel experience highly preferred
• Must complete skills checklist current within one year pertaining to telemetry specialty
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Active Michigan nursing license required with LARA and/or Nursys verification
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required
• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission
