Opportunity:

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 12-bed, all private-room Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
• Care for critically-ill or injured infants, children and teens
• Must be willing to float to NICU when needed - will receive "feeders and growers" patients
• May also float to ED patient holds as required
• Work with state-of-the-art equipment accessible from ceiling booms
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation
• Weekend schedule as assigned
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 24 months of PICU/Pediatric Intensive Care experience required
• Required certifications: PALS (AHA), BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required
• Skills checklist specific to PICU/Pediatric Intensive Care required
• Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager within 24 months preferred
• Driver's license required
