Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• 16 hours guaranteed per week
• Every 4th weekend/holiday rotation if scheduled
• Required to float between Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Lutheran campuses
• Care for CABG, ICD, Pacemaker, cardiac drips, and vascular surgical patients
• Patient ratios: Days 1:4, Nights 1:6
• 24-bed telemetry unit with tech monitoring
• Work with cardiac drips including Nitro, Cardene, Heparin, Diltiazem, and Dopamine
• Overtime billable after 40 hours (36-40 hrs/week) or after 48 hours (48 hrs/week)
• Must wear solid navy blue scrubs
• Use EPIC EMR system
• Work with Alaris IV pumps and wound vacs
• Minimum 24 months telemetry/cardiac experience required
• Must have completed at least one travel contract within previous 18 months
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation experience required
• Drip/titration experience required
• Active Iowa nursing license required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
