Opportunity:

Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Perform technical mammography and radiologic procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity
• Work posted schedule - no 10/12 hour shift requests will be considered
• Must work weekends, evenings, and provide holiday coverage if required
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
• Must have own vehicle for transportation needs
• Cannot reside within 50 miles of facility
• No schedule accommodations or block scheduling requests accepted
• Must work exclusively on this assignment - no conjunction with other assignments
• Maximum 5 days of requested time off accepted (must be noted at upload)
• Apply appropriate skills to facilitate patient diagnosis under supervision of Lead Technologist or Operations Manager
• Maintain proper patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies
• Practice infection control and body substance isolation per OSHA standards
• Demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACS applications
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (M), BLS (AHA)
• Massachusetts Radiology license required
• 2 years X-ray experience and 1 year current experience required
• 2 years current mammography experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Current skills checklists for both mammography and X-ray required
• Attend annual mandatory education including blood borne pathogens and infection control
