Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling options
• Guaranteed 16 hours per week (NBO)
• Work every 3rd or 4th weekend as needed including holiday rotation if scheduled
• No on-call responsibilities
• 1:2 or 1:3 patient ratio on 42-bed unit
• 24 months of NICU/Neonatal Intensive Care experience required
• Must have completed at least one travel contract within the past 18 months (no first-time travelers)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required
• Experience and comfort utilizing vasopressors, sedation, and glucose administration required
• Care for premature infants and patients with respiratory distress/failure, hypoglycemia, and other neonatal conditions
• May float to general pediatrics and PICU as needed
• EMR system: EPIC
• Skills checklist specific to NICU discipline required
• Professional reference from charge nurse/supervisor/nurse manager within 24 months required
