Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work every other weekend with holiday rotation
• 16-hour NBO (no break option) shift requirements
• Float across all campuses including Iowa Methodist MC and Iowa Lutheran
• Care for pulmonary and medical surgical patients on a 23-bed unit
• Manage patients requiring bi-pap, trach care, and ventilated patients
• Administer heparin drips and other specialized medications
• May care for COVID-positive patients
• Charge nurse experience required
• 24 months of medical surgical experience required
• Pulmonary patient care experience required
• Experience with pulmonary/ventilated patients on bi-pap and trach care highly preferred
• First-time travelers accepted if they meet 2+ year medical surgical experience requirement
• Must have active Iowa license or compact/multistate license
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• EMR system: Epic
• Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager within 24 months preferred
