Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech
Job Details:
• Perform cardiac ultrasound on all inpatients and outpatients
• Produce quality images by selecting appropriate technical factors, equipment and transducer settings
• Verify patient orders and review appropriateness for exams
• Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns
• Use independent judgment to differentiate between normal and pathologic findings
• Operate sonographic equipment independently and communicate diagnostic findings
• Manage daily operations including patient scheduling and equipment maintenance
• Report equipment failures and conduct quality assessment activities
• Maintain clean work environment and adequate supplies
• Perform appropriate sterilization techniques and maintain accurate documentation
• Complete logs, charts, forms, and records in paper and electronic formats
• Comply with Joint Commission, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
• 2+ years of ultrasound tech experience required
• Cardiac ultrasound proficiency required
• Vascular ultrasound proficiency required
• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS (AHA)
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend requirements
• Must maintain permanent address outside 50-mile radius of facility

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
