Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Minimum 24 months of experience in ultrasound/sonographer capacity required
• Average of 15 scans per day working with general, OB/GYN, and vascular patients
• Experience required in abdomen, small parts, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester OB (non high-risk) for dating, measurements, BPPs, and fetal anatomy scans
• Must have experience with transabdominal and transvaginal gynecologic imaging
• Vascular experience required including upper and lower venous doppler, lower arterial doppler, ABIs, Aorta duplex, Carotid arterial doppler, and hepatic and renal doppler imaging exams
• Experience assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures preferred but not required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Call coverage Monday-Friday from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM with rotation among all day staff
• Weekend call coverage as needed from 6:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ARDMS (AB)
• ARDMS (RVT) and ARDMS (OB/GYN) highly preferred
• Must have proficiency in abdomen/RUQ with liver vessel evaluation, kidneys, bladder, pelvis imaging, testicle/scrotum evaluation, DVT/venous evaluation, ABIs, thyroids, aortas, carotids, and limited 2nd/3rd trimester OBs
• Will accept first-time travelers with 2 years of ultrasound experience
• Must be available to start orientation on 5/18
