Opportunity:

Technologist - Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Job Details:

• Position patients on examining table and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified body areas
• Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures
• Move radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjust equipment controls for exposure factors
• Operate film processing equipment and mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating rooms, emergency rooms, or at patient bedside
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
• Must have 1+ years of current X-Ray Tech experience in hospital setting
• Must be proficient with fluoroscopy, digital radiography, portables, and OR c-arm
• Must have experience working with all age groups
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required if needed/scheduled
• No on-call responsibilities
• Ability to prioritize and organize daily workflow with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills required
• Required certifications: NH License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy, BLS, ARRT
• Must have own vehicle as this is a small community without public transport
• Dress code: Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with lab coat, or basic plain personal scrubs with closed toe shoes and hair pulled back if longer than shoulder length
