Opportunity:
Certified Surgical Tech (CST) - CVOR
Job Details:
• Serve as surgical technologist in the Operating Room with focus on cardiovascular procedures
• Take call 1-2 nights per week and every third weekend
• Work every third weekend
• 5+ years of CVOR experience required
• Open heart experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NBSTSA
• Skills checklist current to 1 year pertinent to CVOR specialty required
• Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and problem-solving abilities
• Verify items on physician preference cards and ensure accurate patient billing
• Assemble and maintain sterile instruments, equipment, and disposables
• Ensure all equipment, supplies, and instruments are in working condition
• Maintain sterile environments and monitor sterile field integrity
• Set up sterile field with instruments in timely manner
• Keep accurate account of medications, sponges, instruments, and sharps per policy
• Anticipate surgeon needs and assist throughout procedures
• Tertiary care center and/or designated level I or II trauma center experience required
• Candidates must live outside 50-mile radius of facility

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
