Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing professional/clinical knowledge and skills in patient care
• 12-hour shifts with 36-40 hours per week schedule, overtime billable after 40 hours
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Must be comfortable floating to ER when needed
• Work with acute patient population including critical drips and BiPAP
• At least 2 years of previous Med Surg or Stepdown experience required
• Must be comfortable with critical care drips and acute patient care
• EPIC EMR experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Illinois or Iowa nursing license required
• Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
