RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing professional/clinical knowledge and skills in patient care management
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Handle outpatient surgeries and infusion patients including infusion medications and some titrations
• Administer blood, platelets, IVIG, IV fluids, and antibiotics (no chemotherapy)
• Maintain 3:1 patient ratios
• On-call requirements: 1 evening per week, holidays, and 1 weekend per month from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work every third weekend
• 16-hour normal business operations schedule
• EPIC EMR system experience required
• 2 years of experience required with travel experience in OR required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), mandatory reporter training
• CNOR certification preferred
• Iowa nursing license required
• Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility
• Skills checklist must be completed within 1 year of submission date
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
