RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with 36-40 hours per week scheduling
• Work every 4th weekend
• Overtime billable after 40 hours per week (up to 48 hours per week, overtime billable after 48)
• Required to float between Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Lutheran campuses
• Care for patient populations including CABG, ICD, Pacemaker, cardiac drips, and vascular surgical patients
• Patient ratios: Days 1:4, Nights 1:6 on 24-bed unit
• Work with cardiac drips including Nitro, Cardene, Heparin, Diltiazem, Dopamine
• Telemetry monitoring unit with tech support
• Must wear solid navy blue scrubs
• 24 months minimum experience in Telemetry/Cardiac, Stepdown, or Progressive Care required
• Must have completed at least one travel contract within previous 18 months
• Cardiac rhythm experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Equipment experience with Alaris IV pump and wound vac required
• Cardiac drip/titration experience required
• Level II trauma experience required, Level I trauma experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS
• Iowa nursing license required with active status verified through Nursys
