Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Set up all radiographic equipment prior to performing angiographic procedures
• Process and perform quality control checks on cine radiographic images
• Assist in preparing patients for procedures and provide post-catheterization care
• Assist catheterization lab/Interventional Radiology staff and physicians to ensure timely and efficient lab operations
• Perform patient prepping, sterile tray setup, post-procedure care, and room cleanup (35% of role)
• Manipulate equipment and set appropriate techniques on radiographic generators to achieve optimal image quality (35% of role)
• Operate electronic equipment including cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation equipment, hemodynamic equipment, and pacemakers (30% of role)
• Perform oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements
• Work every weekend as part of schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• Catheterization lab technologist experience required
• Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Skills checklist current within one year and two supervisory reference forms within last two years required
• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission
