RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Function within the health system's mission, vision, values, policies and procedures
• Assume responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during shift
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria
• Make clinical judgments based upon scientific knowledge and clinical skills
• Assist in planning, directing and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries
• Work every other weekend schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must float to all units within skill level as required
• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• Immediate open heart recovery experience required
• TNCC certification highly preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact license required
• Skills checklist pertinent to ICU specialty must be current within one year
