RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide professional nursing care for patient comfort and well-being
• Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment in patient care
• Apply all phases of nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Direct and supervise nursing patient care team including Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other technicians
• Collaborate with own team and other disciplines in provision of care
• Complete documentation of patient care, patient condition, reactions and response to treatment in timely manner
• Track patient progress throughout care
• Work every other weekend and be available for holiday coverage
• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required
• Cerner experience required
• Charge experience required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Michigan nursing license required

This is a 78-bed state-of-the-art healthcare facility that operates an 11-bed emergency department using Cerner EMR system. The facility provides comprehensive emergency services and maintains high standards of patient care. During winter months, the hospital uniquely hosts a weekly indoor farmers market featuring goods from 20 different vendors within an 80-mile radius, creating a community-focused environment.
