RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiology

Job Details:

• Provide specialized care and support to patients recovering from cardiac events
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized rehabilitation plans
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a high-volume cardiology clinic
• Perform detailed cardiovascular assessments and triage patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions
• Manage patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs), including pacemakers, ICDs, and CRT devices
• Conduct in-clinic and remote device interrogations, evaluating battery status, lead integrity, and arrhythmia events
• Assist with pre- and post-procedure care for device implantation, including patient preparation and wound care assessment
• Administer and manage cardiac medications such as anticoagulants, beta-blockers, antiarrhythmics, and diuretics
• Educate patients and families on cardiovascular disease management, device function, and lifestyle modifications
• No call responsibilities required
• No weekend shifts required
• 3+ years of recent outpatient cardiology experience required
• Device management experience highly preferred
• Active Vermont or Compact nursing license required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Cardiac skills checklist from within the last year required
