RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 16-hour night block option (NBO) available
• Every 3rd weekend requirement
• 36-40 hours per week standard, overtime billable after 40 hours
• 48 hours per week option available with overtime billable after 48 hours
• Required to float across all campuses: Iowa Methodist MC and Iowa Lutheran
• Patient ratio of 4-5:1 on a 24-bed unit
• Care for all types of med surg patients including overflow of post-op surgical hips/knees
• Work with heparin drips and remote telemetry monitoring
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Solid navy blue scrubs required
• Minimum 24 months experience in Med Surg/Med Surg Tele required
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Department prefers candidates who can extend beyond initial 13-week contract
• Local radius rule: 50 miles with 10% bill rate reduction
