Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Minimum 24 months of experience in ultrasound/sonographer capacity required
• Experience in general/abdomen imaging required
• Experience in non high-risk OB/GYN required
• Experience in vascular imaging required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with 2+ years ultrasound experience
• Average 15 scans per day working with general, OB/GYN, and vascular patients
• Call coverage Monday-Friday 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM with rotation among day staff
• Weekend call coverage as needed 6:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• On-call rate of $9/hour
• Charge/precepting differential of $6/hour
• Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS (AB) required, ARDMS (RVT) and ARDMS (OB/GYN) highly preferred
• Must perform abdomen/small parts, 1st/2nd/3rd trimester OB scans, transabdominal and transvaginal gynecologic imaging
• Conduct upper/lower venous doppler, lower arterial doppler, ABIs, aorta duplex, carotid arterial doppler
• Perform hepatic and renal doppler imaging exams
• Experience assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures preferred
• Must be proficient in thyroid, testicle/scrotum, DVT/venous evaluation, and limited 2nd/3rd trimester OB studies
