RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with 36-48 hours per week availability
• Every other weekend schedule required
• 16-hour shifts available as needed
• Must be comfortable with acute patient population including critical drips and gtts
• Patient ratios range from 1:2-3 up to 1:6 depending on acuity
• Will be required to float to Emergency Room and must be comfortable doing so
• May be asked to float within same discipline across local campuses
• Must have experience with BiPAP and critical care drips
• EPIC electronic medical record system experience required
• Minimum 2 years Med Surg and Stepdown experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Iowa license in hand required, will need to apply for Illinois license when offered
• Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
