RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work on an adaptive acuity unit with 25 beds maintaining 1:5 nurse to patient ratio
• Occasionally required to provide PCU care at 3:1 ratio (non-negotiable)
• Must have experience with insulin drips, esmolol drips, and sodium drips
• Required to float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice
• Every other weekend and holidays required if needed
• Charge nurse responsibilities available for additional $3/hour
• No billable orientation hours
• Overtime worked at regular rate with no multiplier
• No call or call-back responsibilities
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
• 2+ years of current med surg/tele experience required
• Progressive Care Unit/PCU experience strongly required
• ICU experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 3 months previous travel experience required (non-negotiable)
• Small critical access facility experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Vermont RN license or compact required
• Skills checklists required for PCU, Medical Surgical, and Telemetry (current within 1 year)
• Maximum 5 days requested time off will be accepted (must be noted at submission)
• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission
