Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Perform interventional radiology procedures using radiological technology for minimally invasive techniques
• Act as first point of contact for referrals and patients
• Attend patient consultations and perform initial examinations and assessments
• Make recommendations to referring physicians, patients, and families under interventional radiologist guidance
• Perform daily rounds and communicate patient progress to medical staff and radiologist
• Handle heart catheterizations, PCI procedures, IABP insertions, STEMI calls, IVUS/IFR and interventional radiology cases
• On-call responsibilities: 8-10 days per month with 30-minute response time requirement
• Weekend schedule: To be determined
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Illinois state license required
• 2 years of catheterization lab experience required
• COVID and flu vaccinations required with no declinations approved
• Must maintain active BLS and ACLS certifications at time of submission
