Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Technologist - Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray
Job Details:
• Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities
• Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment
• Submit and transmit X-ray images to a Radiologist for interpretation
• Unload portable X-Ray equipment and transport into facilities to perform physician-ordered exams
• Must obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent x-ray images
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation
• Scan exam related paperwork and billing documents on a daily basis per protocol
• Regularly communicate with dispatch and management
• Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients
• Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment
• Physical demands include pushing/pulling 50-100 lbs of equipment 16 to 24 times per day
• On-call responsibilities discussed at interview
• Weekend work based on case load and may constitute overtime if needed
• Assignment duration is 8 weeks as standard with no guaranteed hours
• Required certifications: ARRT
• California state license required
• Must have valid driver's license
• Must have no non-compete agreements

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
