Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Technologist - X-Ray

Job Details:

• 2 years of X-Ray experience required
• Work 2 weekends per month
• No on-call responsibilities
• ARRT certification required
• Explain procedures to patients and position them to capture specific body parts
• Use lead shielding to protect patients against radiation exposure
• Operate X-ray equipment and adjust technical factors like voltage and current for clear images
• Review images for clarity to ensure they are useful for physician interpretation
• Retake images when necessary to maintain diagnostic quality standards
• Follow safety procedures including ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles
• Sanitize equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
• Update patient records, manage images, and document procedures accurately
