Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Perform magnetic resonance imaging on patients utilizing highly technical equipment
• Administer contrast materials as required including IV and oral contrast
• Prepare scan room and patient for examination procedures
• Interview and screen patients for contraindications prior to MRI studies
• Transport patients to exam room and assist with appropriate positioning
• Perform equipment warm-up procedures and enter patient data with scan parameters
• Review patient data and previous exams to ensure proper examination protocols
• Utilize correct protocols, coils, restraints and scanning materials
• Ensure proper patient orientation marking and image entry with correct sequencing
• Prepare records for radiologist review and ensure clinical information is complete
• Work holidays and weekends as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• 2+ years of MRI experience required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Associate degree required
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Required certifications: ARRT or AMRIT MRI certification, BLS (AHA)
• Skills checklist current within one year required
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within last two years required
