Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Technologist - X-Ray

Job Details:

• 16 hours guaranteed per week
• Work with Epic EMR system (highly preferred)
• Minimum 24 months of X-Ray experience in hospital setting required
• Equipment experience: Siemens X-ray rooms/portables (required), GE C-arm in surgery (highly preferred)
• Setting experience: inpatient and ER required, OR experience preferred
• Handle 100-120 scans per day on average
• Provide care for outpatient, inpatient, ED, and surgery patients
• Responsible for bringing back outpatients and transporting ER patients
• May perform occasional cystoscopy or laparoscopic cholecystectomy procedures
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Overtime billable after 40 hours per week (36-40 hrs/week), after 48 hours (48 hrs/week)
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT
• Iowa Radiology license highly preferred
• Professional references from within 24 months required
• Skills checklist specific to Radiologic Tech/X-Ray required
• New travelers welcome with appropriate experience
