RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Flexible shift options available: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts
• Start times can be selected from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• Manager is very flexible on start time and shift duration
• Must specify desired shift when applying
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• 16-hour need-by-orientation (NBO)
• EPIC electronic medical records system
• May be asked to float to ICU within the same discipline across local campuses
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• At least 2 years of previous PACU experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Iowa nursing license required
• Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Overtime billable after 40 hours per week (36-40 hrs/week) or after 48 hours per week (48 hrs/week)
• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of interdisciplinary team in patient care management
