RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Accountable for quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under your direction
• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to provide care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients
• Must have 2+ years recent Med Surg/Tele experience
• Must have 2+ years experience working with stroke patients
• Must be willing to take Telemetry patients as needed
• Must obtain NIHSS Certification within 48 hours if offered
• Must obtain mRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered
• Must be willing to work facility's schedule without scheduling restrictions
• On-call schedule to be determined by facility
• Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Maryland nursing license required with verification less than 30 days old
• Supervisory references from last 6 and 12 months required
