Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Perform all aspects of patient exam activities at a technical level to produce high quality images
• Specialize in performing ultrasound diagnostic studies
• Obtain patient history, explain standard procedures, and address patient concerns
• Operate and maintain all assigned ultrasound scanning equipment
• Position patients, select appropriate transducers and machine settings
• Conduct scanning procedures to correctly capture images requested by physicians
• Complete quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety
• Maintain all required documentation, logs, charts, forms and records in paper and electronic formats
• Maintain adequate supply of consumables for quality testing
• Perform routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks
• May assist other areas of radiology as assigned
• Weekend work required
• On-call responsibilities included
• 2+ years of MRI experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Pediatric and geriatric experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT
• Work under general supervision following established policies and procedures
