RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• 16-hour guaranteed shifts with potential for overtime after 40-48 hours per week
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless unit is closed
• On-call schedule: 1 night per week and every 3rd weekend from 7:30 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday
• Must be willing to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units
• Will be assigned cases on rare occasions during call schedule
• Minimum 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Must function as strong and experienced circulator
• Structural heart experience highly preferred
• EP (electrophysiology) experience highly preferred
• Scrub experience highly preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• May be required to precept as needed
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Iowa nursing license required
• EMR system: EPIC
• Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath Lab required
• Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within past 24 months preferred
