Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Laboratory - Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
Job Details:
• 2+ years of MLS experience required
• ASCP certification required
• Work every third weekend or when necessary to cover gaps
• No on-call responsibilities
• Conduct medical laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analyses following established accreditation guidelines
• Perform chemical analyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices to determine normal and abnormal components
• Analyze blood cells by counting and identifying cells using microscopic techniques
• Prepare blood, plasma, and platelets for transfusions by conducting blood group, type, and compatibility tests
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including analyzers, spectrophotometers, colorimeters, and flame photometers
• Calibrate equipment, complete preventive maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and evaluate new equipment
• Maintain laboratory supplies inventory and ensure adequate stock levels
• Prepare reports of technological findings by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
• Work in compliance with all established QA/QI standards
• Maintain safe and clean working environment while adhering to infection-control and hazardous waste policies
• Provide medical technology information and support to healthcare team

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
