Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 16-hour shifts with 36-40 hours per week standard, overtime billable after 40 hours
• 48 hours per week maximum with overtime billable after 48 hours
• Required to work 50% call including every other weekend and every other holiday
• Must work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless unit is closed
• Handle 4 patients/scans per day on average
• Work with Artis Zee c-arm, Impella, IABP, and Acist Injector equipment
• Perform peripheral/coronary angio, PCI, and pacemaker procedures
• Hospital-provided light blue scrubs required
• 24 months experience in Cardiac/Cath Lab required
• Must have completed at least one travel contract in previous 12 months (no first-time travelers)
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy required
• Must be proficient and comfortable with peripheral and coronary angio cases
• Must be proficient and comfortable with PCI and pacemaker procedures
• Equipment experience with Impella highly preferred
• Additional equipment experience with Acist Injector, iFR, IVUS highly preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT or RCIS certificate
• Iowa Radiology license highly preferred (can apply at time of acceptance)
• Iowa state license required
