RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team providing professional and clinical care to patients
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• 16-hour shifts with night/block options available
• EPIC electronic medical record system
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Overtime available after 36-40 hours per week (some positions after 48 hours)
• On-call availability with $9/hour compensation
• Charge/Precepting opportunities available with $6/hour additional compensation
• 2 years of previous experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS
• Iowa nursing license required
• Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility
• Skills checklist must be completed within 1 year of submission
• Supervisory reference required at time of submission
