Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Sonographer - Echo Sonographer
Job Details:
• Perform 7-8 scans per day as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Work schedule is 16 hours normal business operations
• Epic EMR system experience required
• On-call responsibilities: 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month
• Summer holiday requirement: Must work 1-2 of 3 holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Overtime billable after 40 hours for 36-40 hour work weeks, or after 48 hours for 48-hour work weeks
• Minimum 2 years of previous cardiovascular/vascular sonographer experience required
• At least 1 completed travel contract required
• Active Iowa license required at time of submission
• Required certifications: RDCS/RVT, BCLS, ARDMS or CCI certification
• Must complete discipline-specific skills checklist
• Professional reference from within 24 months preferred

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
