Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Technologist - X-Ray

Job Details:

• Work 16 hours guaranteed per week with potential for overtime after 40 hours
• Weekend rotation with call schedule
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless unit is closed
• Operate various imaging equipment including Phillips Diagnostic, Carestream, Hologic breast machine, Phillips portable, Siemens Cysto, GE OEC c-arms, and Toshiba fluoro equipment
• Handle average of 100 daily patient scans for all techs
• Must have ARRT certification and BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 15 months of X-Ray experience in clinic or hospital setting required
• Iowa radiology license highly preferred (will accept non-licensed candidates who must apply for license upon acceptance)
• GE OEC c-arm equipment experience required
• Phillips equipment experience highly preferred
• Operating room competency and experience preferred
• Siemens Cysto equipment experience highly preferred
• Fluoro experience preferred
• First-time travelers welcome with at least 24 months of X-Ray experience
• Skills checklist specific to X-Ray discipline required
