Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Sonographer - Echo
Job Details:
• Work as cardiovascular sonographer with vascular experience as part of interdisciplinary team
• Perform 7-8 scans per day with full vascular skill set required
• Complete all vascular processes including renal, pre-op, pain mapping, and detailed work
• May be asked to float within same discipline across local campuses
• On-call responsibilities: 1-2 call shifts per week and 1-2 weekends per month depending on staffing
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular/vascular sonographer experience required
• At least 1 completed travel contract required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must maintain active Iowa license at time of submission
• Required certifications: RDCS/RVT, BLS (AHA or ARC), ARDMS or CCI certification
• Skills checklist specific to cardiovascular/vascular sonographer discipline required
• Professional reference from within 24 months preferred

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
