RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work every other weekend schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• 24 months of Emergency Department experience required
• Must have completed a travel contract within previous 18 months
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale
• De-escalation certificates (CPI, MOAB, MAB, SAMA) highly preferred and can be obtained during onboarding if not currently held
• Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license required
• Skills checklist specific to emergency department required
• Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within 24 months preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Must work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Orientation dates available: 6/15, 6/22
