RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work every other weekend schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• 2 years RN Stepdown/Progressive Care experience required
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Cerner experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Michigan nursing license required
• Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to track vital signs, telemetry, and critical metrics
• Perform regular patient assessments and recognize subtle changes in patient conditions
• Initiate necessary interventions or life-saving measures as needed
• Administer complex medications, IV therapies, and titrate drips as ordered
• Provide specialized care for patients recovering from surgery, cardiac events, or those with complex conditions
• Care for ventilator patients and stroke patients requiring neuro checks
• Work with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and therapists to develop care plans
• Educate patients and families on diseases, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care and patient responses
