Opportunity:
MRI Tech - MRI Tech
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Monday through Friday schedule
• NYS license required
• Certification as a radiologic, nuclear medicine or ultrasound technologist required
• BLS certification through AHA or RQI required
• Minimum A.A.S. degree in Radiologic Technology required
• Formal MRI-specific training preferred
• Previous experience in diagnostic radiology required
• 1-2 years experience in related radiology fields with MRI experience preferred
• Must maintain mandatory 12 CEC per year in Radiologic Technology
• Operate MRI equipment, coils and other related equipment with accuracy
• Evaluate image quality and demonstrate accuracy of MRI positioning and coil selection
• Utilize RIS system for patient demographics, charges, and data entry
• Work with PACS for image processing, review, protocol selection and troubleshooting
• Ensure proper magnet safety protocols for self, patients and personnel
• Administer contrast media and recognize emergency situations
• Provide care to infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients
• Follow infection control procedures according to Universal Precautions

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
