RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Overtime available
• No call requirements
• 2+ years ICU experience required
• Active Texas RN License required - temporary licenses not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must be experienced with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilated patients, and post CABG care
• Meditech documentation system experience preferred
• CVICU experience preferred
• Very high acuity unit caring for patients with ECMO, heart transplant, CABG procedures
• May be floated to other ICUs as needed based on volume and acuity, rarely to PCU
• Bedside shift report required with updates to white board
• Professional behavior expected - rudeness not tolerated
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required
• Clean, healthy nails only - no artificial nails, gel, or extensions
• Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Body art should be covered when possible
• Visible piercings other than ears prohibited
