RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Maintain 2:1 or 3:1 patient ratios on a 10-bed ICU unit
• 2 years of ICU experience in a hospital setting required
• Must hold Kentucky nursing license or compact license at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and current NIH (must be certified annually)
• May float to PCU, 3rd floor, or ED as needed
• Work with Philips Telemetry, Baxter pumps, iMobile, ventilators, and glucometers
• Use Meditech Expanse documentation system
• Perform telemetry monitoring, assist with paracentesis procedures, BiPap management, and therapeutic phlebotomy
• Preferred experience with chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vac, drains, post-dialysis assessment, central lines, blood transfusions, and ventilators
• Skills needed: CPap and BiPap management, port access, therapeutic phlebotomy
• Navy or gray scrubs required dress code
• Work alongside Clinical Nurse Coordinators, RNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs
