Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in cardiac catheterization lab with 5 procedure suites
• Day shift schedule with on-call responsibilities for emergent cases
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• Patient ratio of 1 patient to 3-4 staff members
• Must have cardiac catheterization, CRM (cardiac rhythm management), and peripheral vascular experience
• EP/ABL (electrophysiology/ablation) experience preferred
• Facility open to cath lab RN that can scrub
• Work with advanced equipment including Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, and Rotoblator
• Use MacLab and Meditech EMR systems
• Perform diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures, peripheral vascular procedures, pacemaker and ICD implants, Watchman procedures, TAVR, and EP/ABL procedures
• Navy blue scrubs required for RN staff

This 309-bed Level II Trauma Center features a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory with 5 procedure suites and state-of-the-art cardiac technology. The facility specializes in advanced cardiac procedures and maintains a dedicated team of experienced cardiac specialists. The cath lab department is staffed with 1 Director, 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 4.6 staff RNs, and 5 technicians, providing a collaborative and supportive work environment for cardiac care professionals.
