Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Special Procedures Tech - Radiology

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Must be able to scrub and circulate for interventional procedures
• Operate equipment for special procedures including angiograms, angioplasty, atherectomy, stenting, embolizations, declotting procedures, central line placement, UFE, and PE studies with intervention
• Experience working in an interventional lab required
• Experience with guidewire and catheter exchanges in sterile environment required
• Perform typical procedures including dialysis catheter placements, peripheral arteriography, angioplasty, atherectomy, EVAR, central line placement, embolectomy, embolization, coiling, pulmonary procedures, port placements, mesenteric arteriography, feeding tube placements, and IVC filters
• Work with GE equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Required certifications: R.T.(R)(ARRT), TMB-MRT, BLS
• Vascular Interventional Registry or CardioVascular Registry preferred
• Gray scrubs required
• May float to Radiology or Cath Lab as needed
• Rotating call schedule

Facility:

This 186-bed healthcare facility features a specialized interventional radiology department with 6 staff members including radiology RNs and IR technologists. The Special Procedures Lab is located in the Imaging Services Department on the first floor of the main building. The facility performs a wide range of interventional procedures and maintains modern equipment to support comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional radiology services.
