RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required at Level 3 Trauma Center or higher
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH
• Provide care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning safe patient care delivery
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Hold shift accountability for emergency department patient care
• Backfill position requiring immediate coverage
