RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Position in Transplant/Stepdown unit (61216) on floors 5A/6A in A Tower
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3-4
• Must have Med/Surg/Telemetry experience
• Must have experience caring for patients with Heparin drips and PCA pumps
• Stepdown/PCU experience preferred
• Experience with solid organ transplant patients (kidney, liver, or pancreas) preferred
• Perform wound and drain care including wound vac, chest tubes, and JP drains
• Work with equipment including bladder scanner, Mobilabs for lab draws, EKG machine, AccuVein, Virtual Sitter Cameras, W.O.Ws, Hoyer Lift, Sara Stedy Lift, and Sit to Stand Lift
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Must be reliable, adaptable, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Unit has 34 beds with approximately 50 staff members
