RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Provide critical care nursing for a 21-bed ICU with 45 total staff members
• Maintain 2:1 nurse to patient ratio for standard ICU patients, 3:1 for step-down status, or 1:1 for very high acuity patients
• Required to work every 3rd weekend and one major winter holiday
• Self-scheduling available with flexibility to float to Telemetry and other facilities within the health system
• Must have experience with vasopressor IV drip titration and ventilator management
• Required skills include care of sepsis, arrhythmias, and medical/surgical critical care patients
• Preferred experience with cardiac care and CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
• Work with Hospira IV pumps and Meditech EMR system
• Participate in typical ICU procedures including intubation, central line insertion, bronchoscopy, and endoscopy
• Must be team-oriented with a good sense of humor
• Intensivist available in ICU 24/7 for support
