RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - IMCU Tele

Job Details:

• Work in the 6th floor central tower Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)/Progressive Care Unit
• 10-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:3 or 1:4
• Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs
• Night shift staffing: 1 charge/3 RNs, 1 PCT
• Work with equipment including Bipap machines and trach vents
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must have IMCU, Progressive Care, or ICU-Stepdown experience
• Preferred familiarity with Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardizem, and 3% Saline
• Typical procedures include chest tube insertions
• Floating to IMCU/Stroke department as needed
• 4 weekend shifts required
• Blue scrubs required
• Must have flexible, positive attitude
