RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU/CCU

Job Details:

• Work in 16-bed ICU/CCU unit with patient ratios of 2:1, occasionally 3:1
• 36 hours weekly scheduling requirement
• Float in rotation with core staffing
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
• Work with advanced equipment including Impella, GE monitors, temporary pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Arctic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Perform procedures including central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
• Must demonstrate critical thinking skills and be self-motivated
• Dress code: scrubs any color, no denim, capris, or camo
• Unit staffed with medical technician, occasionally a tech depending on census
• Flexible scheduling with teamwork environment
• Mix of experience available on both day and night shifts
